Today me and my friends paris and valerie are going to tell you how a bill becomes a law.
A bill can start in the house of congress or the house of representatives
after the bill has been proposed it will be sent to committee
the people in committee examine the bill and debate on it if it is approved the bill is sent to the floor for debate
the bill is debated once again and is either approved or killed if approved it will be sent to the other legislative body
if the bill is accepted just the way it is by both of the houses it gets sent to the president
If the president thinks the bill is good he signs it and it becomes a law to the land
but it can also get vetoed which means rejected but congress can override it , it need 2/3 of the members of the houses to vote again
