Herbert: "Did you have three wishes?" Sergeant-Major Morris: "I did and so did another man, his last wish was for death." Mr. White: "Well if you're through with it, may I have it?" Music completely stops Medium shot
Sergeant Major Morris throws paw into fire Mr. White grabs it off of the fire Sergeant-Major Morris: "No it's better off in the fire!" Mr. White: "Now why would you do that?" Sergeant-Major Morris: "WHy, only a fool would keep that, trust me. The most sensible thing to do would be to let it burn." Medium shot
Sergeant-Major Morris how it works and he tells them, but warns them of the consequences. Then the family jokes around about what to wish for and Sergeant-Major Morris leaves. Medium shot
Mr.White doesn't know what to wish for because he has all that he wants. Herbert:"Wish for 200 pounds, that way you can pay off the house." So Mr.White wished, but nothing happened. Then Mr. and Mrs. White went up to bed Medium shot
