  • Lexington and Concord
  • "Colonial troops had fired the "shot heard" round the world." - Ralpho Waldo Emerson
  • Battle of Bunker Hilll
  • "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes." - Colonel William Prescott
  • The Boston Teas Party took place in Charleston, South Carolina. Angry about the new tax on tea, Colonist who called themselves the Sons of Liberty, dressed up as Native Americans and dumped hundreds of chest of tea in to the harbor on December 16, 1773. The colonist soon had to face a law passed known as the intolerable acts.
  • Valley Forge
  • "The unfortunate soldiers were in want of everything." - Marquis De Lafayette.
  • Lexington and concord took place at dawn in Massachusetts on April, 1775. the British marched first to concord, and on their way they walked through Lexington where the Americans were forced to withdrawal. The American were waiting for the British where they were forced retreat.
  • Camden
  • One of the first major battles of the revolution, the colonist hold their own against General Gage and his forces at Breeds(Bunker) Hill in Charlestown, MA. Despite losing, the colonial militia's confidence is greatly boosted.
  • Battle of Yorktown
  • "It's all over." - British prime minister
  • Valley Forge took place in Pennsylvania during the winter of 177-1778. The winter was extremely harsh, and according to Marquis De Laffayette, "The unfortunate soldiers were in want of everything." The soldiers had been in need of clothes, supplies and food. The leader George Washington was so influential, that soldiers decided to stay instead of leaving when they were allowed to.
  • The Battle of Camden was a military conflict between Great Britain and its thirteen colonies in north america. The battles took place on Wednesday, august 16, 1780 which was located in Camden, South Carolina. The Battle of Camden ended in victory for the British.
  • The Battle of Yorktown took place in Virginia on October 19, 1781. The British army was surrounded at Yorktown and they were greatly outnumbered. The Americans bombarded the British until finally the British surrendered.
