  • Hamlet is being unpleasant to his mother for the actions she has committed.

  • Hamlet's impulsiveness leads him to seeking out Claudius and wanting to kill him.

  • In this scene, Hamlet knows he is not ready for battle, but his overconfidence tells him that he is.
  • Due to Hamlet's impulsiveness, he dies at the hands of Laertes, knowing he was not ready.
  • Hamlet's downfall was due to his assurance of things. Hamlet and other individuals died due to his actions.
