The women, who isn't wearing a seatbelt, is flown forwards due to the train coming to a sudden stop. The man, who is wearing a seatbelt, is safe from getting thrown forward.
The girl kicks the ball forwards by using force. The force moves the ball a certain acceleration depending on the soccerball's mass.
The boy jumps on the diving board. The action of him jumping and landing his feet on the diving board causes a reaction of the diving board launching him forward with the help of a spring.
