  • Nicholas II was not ready to rule, and had no desire to rule and be czar as well. Everything worked out perfectly this way, because his wife Alexandra was shy and also had no interest in being czars.
  • Romanov Dynasty Ends
  • On this very day, violence struck and it involved many deaths and people were protesting for better wages and pay, but many were killed by troops and soldiers.
  • Rasputin is murdered
  • Alexandra and the czar's son had hemophilia, so Alexandra called for the "holy healer", Rasputin, while the czar fought in WWI. But Rasputin was mistaken for cheating with the czars wife.

  • The czar and his family were being told that they were taking a family portrait, but the family realized it was a lie, so the girls hid their jewels in their corsets. After they were in a position for the photo, they were brutally shot and killed.
  • There were rumors that Rasputin was trying to take over the czars place in Russia, and help make decisions, so there were plans for Rasputin to be killed. After he was poisoned with food, he still lived. He was later shot and killed for good.
  • Workers from factories demanded and protested for a wage increase so then they could afford food, but the factory owners did not give in and pay the workers like they wanted to. Instead, the workers were locked out of their jobs.
