  • Robin Hood 101: By: Leah Anderson Anderson Period 2
  • In the Medieval Times, Robin Hood legends were widely known at around the time King John was in reign. Robin Hood was known to be an outlaw who stole from the rich and gave to the poor.
  • There is no actual historic record of this so called Robin Hood ever appearing there. There is “no mention of war, disturbances, or the noble families of England; in fact anything that may reveal a particular time period is conveniently left out” (www.robinhoodlegend.com).
  • "Robin Hood and his contemporaries were cunning, merciless and often brutal but by the codes of their time, they were also honourable" (Ibeji).
  • There were many settings for where Robin Hood and his men were most of their time; the most well known place would be the Sherwood Forest
  • Robin Hood and his men were usually in the Sherwood Forest. Sherwood Forest was one of the largest forests in the country, covering 7,800 acres. The forest was the private estate for the king and his officers and had many harsh rules.
  • HEHEHE
  • Find Robin Hood!
  • Are you real?
  • Uhhh...
  • Even in modern day society, there are still “Robin Hoods” that steal to give to the poor. Corey Donaldson (the modern day Robin Hood) had explained to a court that he robbed a bank so he” could give much of the money to people made homeless by repossessions” (Hawkins).
