When magma cools down it turns into an igneous rock.
When an igneous rock goes through weathering and erosion it turns into a sediment.But when it goes through heat and pressure melting it can turn into magma or a metamorphic rock.
When sediments go through compaction and cement action it turns into a sedimentary rock.
When a sedimentary rock goes through heat and pressure melting it turns back into a metamorphic rock.
And then after the sedimentary rock turns into a metamorphic rock again the cycle starts all over again.
