I don't like the idea of the Bank.
Welcome to this slide show. This about Andrew Jackson and the Bank.
The Bank was up for a new charter and Jackson vetoed it.
We need state banks instead of a federal bank!
Jackson thought the Bank was unconstitutional because it was ran by private bankers instead of elected officials, regular citizens had no power, and it help all the banks power.
Jackson was re-elected for president and he vetoed the Bank charter.
Jackson ordered a withdrawl of all government deposits from the Bank and all funds were placed in state banks.
In 1836, Jackson refused to sign a new charter for the bank and it died.
