Storyboard Description

A parable of Jesus

Storyboard Text

  • One day, a father and his two sons were working in the fields. Out of nowhere, the youngest son demanded his share of the money he would receive after his father died. So, the father gave it to him.
  • Father, give me my share of the estate.
  • Well, here it is.
  • Bye...
  • With a stash of cash, the son set off to a foreign country with everything he owned.
  • Hey!
  • See ya!
  • Oh, gosh, who wouldn't like him? He's rich and everything!
  • The son partied and bought fancy clothes. He spent and spent his money, and threw parties and attracted quite a few girls, too!
  • Yeah!!
  • Oh, my! He is sooo good looking!
  • Ugh. Not interested!
  • But the son got so wrapped up in shopping and spending and partying, it wasn't long before he ran out of money... and out of admirers.
  • Aw, man!! Not fair.
  • What a disgrace!
  • Please, may I work for you?
  • The son tried to find work so he could feed himself.
  • I don't give jobs to the homeless!
  •  You'd better work hard, because you feed yourself -- with your wages! I ain't feedin' ya!
  • He finally found some work, but his "boss" wasn't very friendly.
  • Okay...
  • What's he doing here?
