A parable of Jesus.

Storyboard Text

  • The son was forced to eat pig food to survive, because he didn't have enough money.
  • I am so hungry, I have to eat the pig food. Here goes. Past the lips and over the gums; look out, tummy, here it comes!
  • Hey, that's MINE!!
  • *gasp* *splutter* EWWW!!!
  • HEY!!!!
  • The son found that the pig's food tasted disgusting. He didn't enjoy it!
  •  All these years I have worked like a slave for you. I can't even have a young goat with my friends. My brother runs away, makes a fool of himself, and comes back home. Why does he get the fattest calf? It's not fair!!
  • I've been so stupid and selfish, and I have sinned against Heaven. I wonder whether Father will accept me, as a servant?
  • While trying to sleep, the son realized how selfish he'd been.
  • I thought he'd never leave, that food thief!
  • The next morning, the son headed back for home. He was afraid his father wouldn't accept him or take him back.
  • When his father saw him coming home, he ran to him and hugged him.
  • Father, I am no longer fit to be your son. Please accept me as a servant. I have sinned against Heaven and against you.
  • My son! Put a ring on his finger and put a robe on him. Take the fattest calf and kill it. My son has returned!
  • While the younger son was partying with the rest of the family, the father noticed the older son was nowhere to be found. He found him in the fields, and the son was not happy!
  • He was lost, but now he is found.
