The life and death of King George the Third.
King George the Third was born on June 4th, 1738 at Norfolk. His parents were Prince Frederick of Wales and Princess Augusta of Saxe-Gotha. King George was the oldest and he had 10 siblings. He was the first King in decades to be born in Britain and who's first language was English.
Young King George lost his father in his childhood. But his tutor, who was also a friend of his Mother, Was like a father figure to him and taught him many things in his life. (It's also thought that George's tutor and his mom had an affair but it was never proven.)
King George was then crowned king soon after his grandfather, King George the second died. His wife was Princess Charlotte of Mecklenburg. He and his wife met on their wedding but had a fruitful and apparently happy marriage. They had 15 kids.
When the American Revolution Began, King George III refused to surrender until the Americans finally won and King George had to give them their Freedom. But during the war, he wasted a lot of money on the armies but he still failed. Poor George.
After the war, King George got ill and soon after became mentally ill. He recovered about two times but in the third one he never recovered.
Poor George died on January 28, 1820. R.I.P George
