  • this is so much better and cheaper.
  • Early working texans didnt want to ship goods on muddy roads many thought it was a unreliable source and not cheap. Which is why texans were eagerly waiting for railroads and the big advantages including being cheaper and shipping goods faster.
  • in the 1840's many texans thought west texas soil was hard on the surface.Then john deers steel plow was made to help texans break through soil and led to many easier ways to farm.
  • in 1882 labor unions arrived in texas. labor unions were organized to do most things other unions wouldn't.They would be open to women and african americans and would accept any trade big or small.
