Then his son, Rajendra Chola I, under took many expeditions invading maritime empires.
by 1010 the Chola empire streched from the Maldives to the Godavari river.
I knew that taking my father's advice and expanding the Chola empire would pay off for our people!
But in the 12th century, the the rise of the Pandyas brought stress to the Chola empire.
Then Pandyan empire grew then attacked and by the 13th century, the Chola dynasty was taken over.
