  • Act II
  • Act III
  • Macbeth and Banquo meet the three witches, weird sisters, and the witches tell them each their prophecy, which gives them temptations. The witches say Banquo's prophecy,"Lesser than Macbeth, and greater" (Act I,Scene iii, 139).
  • Act IV
  • Macbeth murders King Duncan with the guards' daggers and has guilt of it. Macbeth says to Lady Macbeth, "I have done the deed. Didst thou not hear a noise?" (Act II, Scene iii, 152).
  • Act V
  • The murderers murder Banquo and Fleance gets away. The murderers say ,"We are resolved, my lord" (Act III,Scene i,Page 185).
  • Final Analysis
  • The murderers murder Macduff's family. Macduff's son says ,"He has kill'd me, mother" (Act IV,Scene ii, Page 245).
  • Macduff cuts off Macbeth's head. Macduff said ,"Th' usurper's cursed head"(Act V, Scene viii, 289).
  • Macbeth started as a good royal hero. Then, because of the prophecy and his ambition, he became more and more ambitiously evil because he wanted more power and believed in a false prophecy that he took into his own hands. Then after all of this he lost control of himself, he tried to do everything he could to keep the "prophecy" intact which he ended up paying his life for this.
