Storyboard Description

Jamie was a 14-year-old girl trying to survive middle school just like all the other kids. But it was a lot more complicated when you're a math genius with awkward glasses and hand-me-down clothes. Ashley was a popular girl who just loved making fun of Jamie. Ashley's friends were Jessica and Ryan. These three friends would never stop bullying Jaime, until one day they found a "better" way to bully her. They recorded a video of her falling and being covered in food and trash and they uploaded it on the internet for the whole world to see. How will Jaime handle this situation?

Storyboard Text

  • I know right?!?! Here watch this... Jessica record everything!
  • Here comes the major loser! Ha!
  • Oops, my bad... *giggles*
  • HAHAHAHAHA!
  • That's Strange... "Check out this hilarious video: MeTube.com/f37rfhyehoq"
  • It was lunch time, and Jaime was walking past the "Populars' Table". As she walked by, she could hear the popular teens already making fun of her. She never knew what to expect during lunch, something they would call her names or even throw an empty milk carton a her. It wasn't easy for her being the only girl in school with raggy clothes, glasses, and braces.
  • (Sobbing) I cant believe this, why me?... "Biggest Loser", "Geek", "Wannabe", "Clumsy Nerd", "Dumb Dork", "Stupid girl who should've never been born"... Is this really what people think of me??
  • This time, Ashley tripped Jaime, making her fall with her food tray and bump into the trash can nearby. As she fell and was completed covered into food and rotten trash, Jessica made sure to record every second of this disaster. Everyone in the cafeteria was laughing...
  • (Sobbing) WHY ME?! WHY?!
  • Later that day... Jamie came home, washed herself, and finished up her homework. Then she got a text from someone from school saying to check out a video on the web.
  • Cyber bullying is active 24/7 on the internet, from forums to blogs to social media and through texting as well; the bright side is that a website post can serve as evidence when telling an adult what happened. If a bully is trying to provoke you, remember to never fight back, it will only make things worse. Other ways to deal with bullies is laughing it off, telling the bully to stop in a clear and calm voice, walk away and ignore them, talk to an adult you trust (such as a parent or teacher) about the situation, and stay near adults because it’s less likely that the bully will come up to you when adults are around.
  • Jamie couldn't believe her eyes!! Ashley and Jessica had uploaded a video of her incident from earlier at lunch. Worse part: EVERYONE IN THE WORLD COULD SEE IT. It already had thousands of views and hundreds of mean comment that upset Jamie even more as she read each one.
  • And ever since that day, Jamie didn't want to eat, go to school, nor exist. Everyday, she's spent her time in her room crying on her bed as she kept receiving mean messages from cyberbullies. She wanted to die.
  • One day, Jamie was on the web when she bumped into an anti-bullying website. It talked about the consequence of cyberbullies and how to handle such situations.
