Ms. Peach had forgotten about Annabell because she was so quiet and hidden in a corner. She looked at Annabell, but Annabell had her head down crying and shaking. She was really not doing good.
Annabell, what can I do? (Ms. Peach approaches Annabell and she winces away). Annabell cannot be consoled.
After many minutes of trying to move Annabell, Ms. Peach and the school counselor, Mr. Sean, were able to get her into Mr. Sean's office.
Mr. Sean talked with Annabell for a long time. He learned that her mother got her dressed today because Annabell spent the summer in bed. Mr. Sean, a licensed counselor, listened to her story. Her father died at the end of the school year and she spent the summer in her bed, crying and feeling horrible. She couldn't get out of bed, she didn't want to. She wanted her dad back. Mr. Sean surmised that Annabell had a depression episode and she would need some counseling and grief therapy to get through this. Coming to school was the first time she left her bed in months. It was a good thing there were caring people there to help Annabell. The end.
