Hello there, and welcome to Mali. The eighth largest country in Africa with just a little over 1,240,000 square kilometers.
In Mali, our houses are made of mud and timber; and the roofs are made of mainly grass.
In Mali, our culture is based on trade. For instance, we trade gold and salt.
Our government is a Democratic Republic. We are known to be 98% Muslim, 2% Christian, and 100% animist.
The way things are bought is by our currency known as "West African CFA Franc."
One of the main jobs is agriculture. Four-fifths of Mali's people work in agriculture, especially subsistence farming.
