  • On the tenth we reached the Lotus-Eaters' land. pg 171
  • Here all of the men are eating their lunch before they go an explore the land.
  • "We went ashore, drew water and straightaway my crewmen ate their meal beside our ships." pg. 171
  • The men were exploring the land after their meal.
  • "I sent two crewman and a third which served as a herald." pg 171
  • Odysseus' men had found some of the Lotus-Eaters'.
  • Those three were quick to find the Lotus-Eaters', who didn't think of slaughtering my men. Pg. 172
  • "They shared their lotus food with them." pg 172
  • The Lotus-Eaters' had given the men some of their honey sweet food.
  • The three men who ate the food of the Lotus-Eaters' didn't want to leave the land.
