  • Because of hyperinflation, Sarah's boss had to let her go from the job along with many of her co-workers
  • That can't be. How do I have no money?!
  • Account balance: $0.00
  • Banks will go out of business because their debt grew too high and they couldn't pay them back
  • I'm very sorry sir. You don't have enough...
  • How do I not have enough?! The price tag says $2.00!!
  • Due to hyperinflation, the prices may rise quickly, maybe not this quickly, though.
  • Why do you have so much money???
  • The value has decreased. This is only $30.00!
  • Banks might use your money to pay back their debts. Then, when you go to pull some of your money out, you may realize ther is none left.
  • Due to hyperinflation, the value of money has gone down and the supermarket had to raise prices. Tommy thought he had enough, but now the price is $4.00...
  • The value of money can decrease by a lot. What was once $300.00 may only be $30.00 now due to hyperinflation. (For the sake of this strip, please pretend the briefcase he is holding is a huge stack of cash)
