  • Causes of The War of 1812
  • America bad! America is land stealing jerks! Go fight America for us!!
  • Follow me you filthy American sailors, you are coming with us!
  • USA
  • The Battle of Lake Erie
  • ENGLAND
  • The Battle of Fort McHenry
  • The Battle of New Orleans
  • The war between Britain and the US was caused by multiple things, but mainly it was caused by 2; the British giving weapons to the Natives and telling them to fight US citizens, and the British Impressment of US sailors.
  • The End of the War
  • The Battle of Lake Erie was one of the first major battles in the war of 1812. This was a naval battle. America luckily won this battle in the war.
  • Even though the war was bloody and hard fought, the effects that happened afterwards were beautiful. Without our trade to Britain getting cut off, then the industrial revolution never would have happened and America and the entire world would be a very different place.
  • Without this battle in the war of 1812, we would not have "The Star Spangled Banner". Francis Scott Key was being held prisoner on one of the British ships that was bombing McHenry and after seeing the American flag standing through everything, he was inspired to write the song.
  • Even though this battle took place after the peace treaty was signed between Britain and America, this battle was the biggest win of the US in this war. Also, this war made Andrew Jackson a hero after showing his war skills. Without this battle, he would have never been president.
