Storyboard Text

  • Makar comes in the classroom and erases everything on the board and starts being disruptive when the teacher in introducing the lesson.
  • He does not listen and continues to disrupt the class.The teacher tells him in a polite way to please stop and asks him to sit down and that they will speak when class is done.
  • Teacher asks him to please sit in the back quietly and that they will talk after class, he follows instruction and teacher talks to him after church.
  • Teacher continues teaching class.
  • Class is over, teacher talks to Makar and asks him what is going on. Makar says that he was upset because his math teacher gave him a low grade in his test. Teacher explained that grades are earned not giving and that it does not give him the right to be disruptive in class.He acknowledge his behavior and apologizes to the teacher. The teacher said that apology is accepted but he will need to serve detention, in an upset voice he said ok.
  • Makar in detention with the teacher. Teacher and him set up a plan to control his anger with different ideas of what he can do. For example, calm down, think, speak. Finally Makar gets to go home and he gives teacher a hug.
