  • Yeah... Sure!
  • Hey Dora! In science we are learning about mitosis..I don't really understand it could you help me?
  • Yes you are right there is one more stage the final phase of cell division, between anaphase and interphase, in which the chromatids or chromosomes move to opposite ends of the cell and two nuclei are formed.and that stage is Telo phase
  • So the first stage of mitosis is pro phase, what happens is the first stage of cell division, before metaphase, during which the chromosomes become visible as paired chromatids and the nuclear envelope disappears. The first prophase of meiosis includes the reduction division.
  • Ohhh... okay and then what happens?
  • So then, the second stage is Meta phase  the second stage of cell division, between prophase and anaphase, during which the chromosomes become attached to the spindle fibers.
  • Yeah that sounds about right... What is the next stage?
  • Okay so now The Third stage is Ana phase the stage of meiotic or mitotic cell division in which the chromosomes move away from one another to opposite poles of the spindle.
  • Okay, isn't there one more stage?
  • Oh okay that makes so much more sense now!
  • Your welcome!
  • Thank you so much Dora I really understand now!
