Fifteen years ago I adjourned to this city. I was considered an alien, not because I was foreign, but because I was not comely. I always thought that to jeer at someone just because of their looks was very childish. The students in this new school tantalized me. However, I remained unflinching every time.
Almost every student was mediocre and had illegible handwriting. That’s what made me different from the rest. I was extremely smart and always aced my tests. I also had great writing so teachers always understood my writing and also enjoyed them, due to how descriptive my writing also was. The teachers would always compliment me and tell me how successful I will be. That was what fortified me.
Now, I am one of the most successful CEOs in the world, and definitely the richest in this city. I have successful companies that are lucrative. I have a beautiful family, and I a beautiful life. But why am I staying in this old city? Because I want everyone that called me names and told me I couldn’t be anything, to see how successful I am. Sure, it is a little mean, but not as mean as they were during my four years of high school.
