Storyboard Text

  • AHHHH, PLEASE GOD! IF I SURVIVE I PROMISE YOU W WILL BECOME A MONK!
  • What the?! What does the Catholic Church think they are doing?! lying to the people of Germany is not OK
  • How dare he spill our secret?!
  • Meet Martin Luther. Luther was once struck by lightning and during the times of pain he prayed to God promising that he would become a Monk if he was to survive. Luther survived.
  • Since you think i am a herotic i am headed to Eisenbach to re-write the bible in german so that everyone can see that i am right!
  • Luther took this as if it was a sign from god and became a Monk. Ever since he became a Monk he cam to realisation that the Church of Germany was Wack and that they were lying to people and trying to make money by selling Indulgences.
  • Oh My gosh! Martin Luther was indeed correct. The bible has made it very obvious that the church is wrong and that they are tricking us into doing something which God does not want of us
  • Luther went on to write 95 reasons on what was wrong with the church and called them the '95 Theses'. Luther posted the 95 theses on the church door so that everyone that went there could see, and this is where the Protestant reformation began.
  • "To be Chritsian without a prayer in no more possible than to be living without breathing"
  • Martin was sent to a Diet of Worms where he argued with the Catholic pope in Rome were he was labelled a herotic and was excommunicated leading him to Eisenbach. At Eisenbach he decided to prove that he was right. Doing so he decided he would re-write the bible in the common language of the area. German.
  • Everybody was able to read the new bible and realised that Luther was right, but because of the bible being able for everyone to read, it didn't take long for people to then have their own opinion about the topic and multiple new branches of christianity were formed.
  • What Martin Luther said (SPEECH ABOVE) means that no matter the christianity you should always prayer and stay faithful to God. The protestant reformation started with Luther in 1517 and ended in 1648 after multiple other people started multiple other forms of Christianity just like Martin Luther and the Lutheran branch of christianity.
