  • Back in the olden days, people judged others by their color of skin. White people were considered "better" than the black people. A young man named Martin Luther King Jr. thought that all people black or white should have equal rights.
  • He started leading marches and delivering speeches throughout the city to make people realize that everyone should have equal rights!
  • On 1963, Martin Luther King presented his "I have a Dream Speech." Many people black and white soon realized that everyone should have equal rights. Martin Luther King Jr's hard work to make everyone have equal rights payed off in the nearby future.
