  • I have an announcement to make listen here, I created the NEP and the government will not be able to control the factories anymore.

  • In this constitution I say we have all the power!!

  • OH GREAT STALIN MY PARENTS WERE SAYING HOW HUNGRY THEY ARE AND HOW AWFUL YOU ARE WHICH IS NOT TRUE! TAKE THEM AWAY!
  • I CAN NOT LET THEM BE MORE POPULAR THAN ME KILL THEM NOW AND SHOW NO MERCY!
  • On March 1921, Lenin creates the New Economic Policy (NEP), which is compatible to small scale capitalism. The governement can't control banks and factories.
  • The Great Purge

  • In 1922, Lenin converts Russia into the U.S.S.R. and the Bolsheviks turn into the Communist Party. Lenin and the Communist Party create a new constitution where they hold all the power.
  • Five Year Plans
  • Stalin created this type of government which has all control of all aspects of both people's public and private lives. People under this type of gov. are brain washed. They use censorship and propaganda to enforce their policies. Stalin did not belive in religion. Many religious leaders were killed under his rule. There was less freedom for the people and more power for the state.
  • Collective Farms
  • Make sure they do their job!
  • During the Great Purges, thousands of artists and famous people were tried and found guilty of "treason." They were later killed. In reality, Stalin did not want anyone to be as popular as him because he ws afraid the people would want them to take hold of the power in Russia.
  • PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU DO NOT KILL ME!!!
  • Five Year Plans are impossible goals Stalin created for the production of steel, oil, and coal. The workers were never able to meet these goals so they lied to him or else they would be killed. Consumer goods were limited leaving shortages in housing and food.

  • Stalin took the land away from the farmers and turned them into huge farms where people were forced to work on. If any of them complained they would be executed and many starved to death. These farms helped provide food for the state.
