Storyboard Text

  • But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
  • O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name.
  • She speaks. O, speak again, bright angel!
  • 'Tis but thy name that is my enemy. Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
  • Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?
  • Romeo climbs the walls of the Capulet House to find Juliet. He sees a window with light coming from it.
  • Art thou not Romeo, and a Montague?
  • I trust your words. Just call me your love, and I will take a new name. From now on I will never be Romeo again.
  • Juliet speaks without knowing that Romeo is there. Romeo listens intently.
  • I pledged my love to you before you asked me to. Yet I wish I could take that promise back, so I had it to give again.
  • I would be satisfied if we made each other true promises of love.
  • Juliet continues and Romeo decides to reveal himself.
  • A thousand times good night.
  • If that thy bent of love be honorable, Thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow
  • Madam!
  • Juliet makes a point that even tough she has not heard him say much, she already knows the sound of his voice.
  • They then both make promises of love and exchange their faithful vows.
  • Juliet's nurse then calls and Juliet tells Romeo that she will send a messenger at 9 o'clock the next day.
