I can't wait for the new pool!
Sorry. You have to wear a blindfold.
Auggie and his friend Jack Will were coming back from graduation. They were talking about how excited they were for summer.
They arrived at an unknown location. Jack told Auggie to put on a blindfold. Auggie heard the creak of the door and Jacks arm leading him through it. Small noises floated through the air as he took in the smells. Cake? Maybe.
Memories start to flood in his brain. Birthdays, party's, haircuts, random things he didn't usually think of. Bullying, snickers in the hallway. The retreat with the boys that were mean to him. All of it is coming to him. Good things especially. His adventures with Jack, and Summer being nice to him. Being him was the best thing that ever happened to him. He thought.
Memories. Auggie takes a few steps forward as he hears a whisper. Its for sure a whisper. And he knows whats going on.
Jack says"Take off the blindfold Auggie.".
Auggie opens his eyes to see nothing like what he thought was there. But all his friends.
