  • Strong verbs are important because on top of creating vivid and memorable writing, it adds specificity. It takes vague and wordy phrases out, to make your writing more descriptive and concise.
  • Weak verbs are lackluster and they don't describe the situation with the same instensity that strong verbs do. Weak verbs are also extremely passive, meaning that the subject is being acted upon by the object.
  • Strong verbs add a descriptiveness to the writing that adds an image into the readers mind about the situation you are writing about.
