  • We better come up with a plan, fast
  • We Persians will defeat you once and for all!
  • What if we go to the Salamis Strait?
  • After the battle at Thermopylae, Winter was getting too harsh. The land campaign would have to now be canceled. Up next, a vital sea engagement.
  • After them!
  • Look, their the fools are trying to run away from us
  • The Persians decided to attack the Greece's navy outnumbering them 500 to 300.
  • Themistocles, a great general, thought that luring the hard-to-maneuver Persian triremes into the Salamis Strait would be a good idea against their own maneuverable ships.
  • With this idea in their minds, the Greeks lured the Persians into the Salamis Strait.
  • The Persian triremes were no match for the Greeks.
  • In the end of the battle, the Greeks succeeded! This was a huge step towards winning the Greek's freedom!
