  • Iago sends Roderigo to kill Cassio, but he only manages to stab him and Iago kills Roderigo. Cassio cries out for help and is screaming "murder, murder!" Roderigo is cursing out his once so called "friend".
  • Act V Scene II
  • Othello enters and hears Cassio's cries for help and applauds Iago for keeping his word. Othello exits as Lodovico and Gratiano enter the scene and are confused as to why someone is crying for help. They figure out that it's Cassio and scramble to help him.
  • Act V Scene II
  • Cassio and Roderigo are carried out of the alley and Cassio's wounds are to be dressed. A woman(whore) named Bianca enters and cries in despair because she thinks Cassio is dead. Iago accuses her of having something to do with Cassio's injury. Emilia enters the scene and is trying to understand what happened to Cassio. After Iago is done yelling at Bianca, everyone exists to go see Cassio and make sure his wounds are dressed.
  • Act V Scene II
  • Othello enters his bedroom where Desdemona lay sleeping. He starts talking to himself about why he has to kill her and that he could never harm her beautiful skin. Desdemona wakes up and finds out that she's going to be killed by him, so she start begging for her life. Othello didn't listen to her and smothered her until she stopped struggling, but then he heard screaming and knocking at the door.
  • Emilia was at door screaming because of what had happened to Cassio and Roderigo. She pleads for him to open the door so that she can explain everything that happened. Othello figures out that Cassio is still alive and Emilia see's that Desdemona is lying dead in her bed. Emilia screams and cries at Othello telling him how she would never cheat on him and that she was so faithful to him. Othello threatens to kill her as well for "lying" and protecting Desdemona.
  • Then Iago, Montano and Gratiano enter and Emilia begins to tell the truth about Iago's whole plan to make Othello jealous by framing Cassio, so he could get rid of him. Othello is furious and lunges at Iago, but Iago is too quick and kills his wife and runs off. Emilia dies, Iago is captured and Othello tells everyone what to say about him, so he doesn't sound like complete monster. He then pulls out his sword and commits suicide.
