This storyboard does not have a description.
Soon Dutch, British, Australian and American soldiers came into Eliza’s town. Eliza’s father said there was no way the Dutch were going to let Japan take Indonesia. In her school, Eliza was taught about the war and how the Dutch would fight until the last man.
One day the soldiers left. Japanese soldiers marched into the town. Japan had won the war over Indonesia and Indonesia was now under Japanese control.
The Japanese closed Eliza’s school and the Dutch language was banned. All the plantation workers left. The Japanese took her father’s car off him and Eliza’s family became very poor. For two years Eliza had no connection to rest of the world. Once again Eliza was very sad.
Sometimes Japanese soldiers would come to Eliza’s door. When this happened Eliza got very scared. One day they took Eliza’s father away. Eliza cried thousands of tears.
Six months passed. Soon the rainy season was over and it became very hot.
