  • God, please give me a child! I will give him to you in return for your blessing.
  • Samuel's early life
  • God I will give my life to you and show you my dedication by never drinking or cutting my hair.
  • Samuel's First Prophecy
  • Eli's sons disrespected me, and he failed to restrain them. Therefore I swore to the house of Eli, ‘The guilt of Eli’s house will never be atoned for by sacrifice or offering.
  • Once upon a time, there was a woman named Hannah who could not have a baby. She went to God and begged to him for a son. God listened to her and answered her prayers with Samuel.
  • Samuel Becomes Judge
  • God, please give us a king to lead Israel!
  • After Samuel's mother, Hannah, gave him to a temple of the Nazarite's where he learned to praise the Lord and became a Priest.
  • Samuel Chooses Saul as king
  • Samuel's teacher, Eli, did not restrain his sons well. They insulted God and God decided to punish them. God told Samuel about what God will do in his dream.
  • Samuel fires Saul and chooses David
  • You will take Samuel's place and become the new king of Israel.
  • One day, people asked God to choose a king to lead Israel. Samuel warned them about the bad things that would happen, but the people still wanted a king. God allowed the people a king and Samuel chose a king.
  • Samuel chose Saul to be the king of Israel, but later he found out that Saul has many different personalities. In order to save Israel from his hands, Samuel needed to find another king.
  • Samuel found David, who was a shepherd at that time, and saw the potential in him. Therefore, he kicked Saul out and David became the king of Israel.
