There was once a warrior that wanted to fight for a army. So Spartacus joined the Roman army. He was from Thracian.
Spartacus was sent to a gladiator school where he was trained to fight. He fought in a arena against animals and or other gladiators. Some of the fights were until the death.
Spartacus escaped from his gladiator school at the time of 72 B.C. He gathered a army by going to a close by city called Pompeii.
Spartacus was with his army on top of a mountain then romans were coming up to attack them. Spartacus and his army went down the mountain with the help of tree vines then attacked from behind.
After Spartacus defeated the Roman army more and more slaves that were trained to become gladiators. His army grew over 70,000 troops. He got his weapons from the romans that were dead.
After the Romans knew about their defeat they gathered even more troops to defeat Spartacus and his army. Two genrals came from a battle and killed Spartacus.
