loneliness- In this scene......Curley's wife is isolated. She is inside with no one to talk to, and she isn't really allowed to go outside and talk with the other guys. This shows us that loneliness is a bad place to be because you really have no one.
Friendship- In this scene...... George and Lennie aregetting a drink from the river after traveling for a long day. This shows that they care for eachother, it also shows that George cares for Lennie even though he has some mental instability. This is important because it shows that you need to love the people close to you no matter what problems they have.
Dreams- In this scene.....George and Lennie are discussing their future plans of livin off the fat of the land. This keeps them motivated and happy when times get tough. This shows us that dreams are good to have so you have something to work towards.
Broken Plans- In this scene .... George has to make the hard decision to kill Lennie. George is breaking all of his friendship with Lennie and all of his plans with him. This shows us that sometimes the hardest decisions are the right ones.
Powerless- In this scene.... Curley has chosen to pick a fight with Lennie. Curley does not realize that
