  • Anti - Times
  • Supreme Court
  • We are here today to solve a difficult problem regarding the 1st amendment.
  • Pro - Times
  • It was actual a 6 - 3 since there are nine judges in the supreme court. Due to limited space on the comic strip I divided it into 3 judges.
  • Were not here to talk about the physical paper but the words, which WERE property of the US and were published by New York Times.
  • Some arguing later...
  • The First Amendment was not intended to make it impossible for the executive to protect the security of the United States.
  • Understand, since there is no intimidate threat to "security" of the US, there is no right to diminish the populaces there practice of the first amendment.
  • The court is in favor of New York Times by a 2 -1 in protection of the first amendment.
  • Told you it would work ! Now we showed that the news has every right to freedom of speech; and publication of classified files are OK as long as there not a DIRECT threat to the US .
  • The End
