Babies will have a similar response to both people and objects. They prefer faces and eyes.
Multiple (10/11 months +)
Preference to see people over objects. Have aquired the ability to tell the difference between seperate people.
The baby will look towards people who it knows for comfort. They will show affection towards one caregiver in particular. Also, they will show stranger and separation anxiety.
Attachment is displayed for a number of different people, not just one care giver. Siblings, grand parents to name a few.
