  • The Meeting of the Estates General.
  • Tennis Court Oath
  • The Storming of Bastille.
  • In 1789, France's society had everyone in the French society separated into three estates.
  • The March at Versailles
  • On June 20, 1789, members of the French Estates-General for the third estate, took an oath to never separate until a written constitution had been established for France.
  • Reign of Terror
  • The Bourgeois became furious with the first and second estates because they found out that they were storing there houses full of bread and other foods during the biggest famine they've ever seen.
  • The rise of Napolean
  • A lot of women marched to Versailles on October 5, 1789. These women were outraged that Queen Antoinette was living in luxury when the people of France were in a huge famine. These women brought the queen and king to Paris where they lived as prisoners
  • After the invention of the guillotine, the reign of terror truly began
  • Napolean never lost any war ever.  In 1804 he eventually crowned himself Emperor.
