Storyboard Text

  • Today is Leonard Peacock's birthday, and it is also the day where he plans on killing his former best friend and himself. He packs his bag with 3 presents and a gun, and gets ready for school.
  • The first present goes to Leonard's neighbor, Walt. Walt is one of the only people that Leonard actually likes, so he receives a present from Leonard just hours before he plans on killing himself. Leonard and Walt like to watch movies together. They do it almost every week.
  • Leonard goes into detail about how he likes to dress up in his "funeral clothes" and take the subway to people watch. He likes seeing if everyone is as miserable as him, and if it is even worth living to adulthood.
  • When Leonard first gets to school, he goes to AP English. After class, his teacher tells him how he is a really good writer, but he doesn't care enough about the class. He then goes off on her, telling her how he really doesn't care and he just wants to do what he wants. He starts thinking about the gun in his backpack.
  • Leonard also talks about how when he first started high school, he made a friend whose name was Baback. Baback was Leonard's best friend, and every day during lunch, Leonard would go see Baback play in the auditorium.
  • In Leonard's history class (his favorite class), he talks to his teacher, Herr Silverman. Leonard also gives his second gift to Herr because how how nice of a person he is to Leonard everyday. He is one of the people who actually gets Leonard Peacock.
