Hey I heard Antarctica was melting, how is that possible?
Well Antarctica is made of frozen ice and the sun does something called vaporization and melts the ice.
What is happening here is called evaporation which is heating the iceburg. Evaporation is when the sun heats the top of an object and increase the thermal energy which causes the molecules to vibrate faster and faster until they change form. There is another version of vaporization called boiling, it is when the object is in water that is heated to the boiling point and melts the object from the bottom.
