From the darkness called Chaos,
Out came Gaea, the goddess of Earth, who gave birth to Uranus god of the sky,who was also his husband. Toghether they had 3 cyclops with 100 arms and 50 heads, and 6 boy and 6 girl titans.
Uranus hated the cyclops, so he returned them to Tartarus, a place below the Earth and sea. Gaea was furious.
Gaea then told Kronos, the youngest son, titan of time to kill Uranus. Once he did he still had the others kept in Tartarus,Gaea now warned him that his youngest son would over power him. So he ate all his children he had with his sister and wife, Rhea. All but the youngest, Zeus, god of the sky, which Rhea switched for a rock wrapped in swaddling clothes.
Rhea gave Zeus to a water nymph so she could take care of him in a cave in Crete untill he was strong enough to fight his father. When he was grown up, Rhea gave Kronos an emetic which he thought would make him immortal but it forced him to discourage Zeus´s siblings.
They toghether defeated finally the evil titan Kronos, which was chained in Tartarus by all time.
