This storyboard does not have a description.
GOAL: To start her own company involved with a fully integrated emphasis in the interior design industry.
Some of my unmet needs are: - lack of confidence in my competencies as a designer - lack of experience and knowledge in the industry - lack of skill to draw/draft designs
What can I do to meet my unmet needs and further my career path as a interior designer, Leesan?
Initiative: To further your education (Bachelors, or additional supplementary courses)
One initiative to target your unmet need of a lack of confidence in your competencies as a designer would be to take a proactive approach of developing yourself. You can do this by furthering your education in addition to your diploma. You could even perhaps even look around for mentorship or internship opportunities that companies in the city may be providing.
How will this be successful in helping me develop confidence in my competences as a designer!?
I have targeted the reason as to why you might lack confidence in your competencies. I think it is because you are uncomfortable with the skills that you has learned within the span of your 2 years at VCAD. By furthering your education (taking an additional 2 years at VCAD to gain a degree or supplemental courses), you'll be able to gain more knowledge in the field, as well as improve your previously acquired skill set More knowledge will also help you to realize what aspect of interior design you're most interested in and what career path you can take to achieve your goals.
