Rumpelstiltskin By: Paul O. Zelinsky
Once upon a time, a miller's daughter was forced to weave straw into gold for the king. The king was not sure if the Miller's daughter could weave straw into gold so, he locked her in a room filled with straw and if she didn't weave the straw into gold she would die.
So she was left in the room all by herself with no idea how to weave straw into gold.
While the Miller's Daughter was crying a little man appeared and asked her "Why are crying?" and she said "I have to weave all of this straw into gold but, I can't,". "I'll do it for something." he said "My necklace?" So he did it for her necklace.
When the Miller's daughter awoke she found a pile of gold straw in the room. The king arrived and was surprised that "she" weaved the straw into gold.
The king put the Miller's daughter in bigger room with more straw. She thought how am I going to do this?
