  • Legend of Cecil
  • This was the safest place in the land, no one dared to attack the it for the king was powerful and feared by all.
  • King Cecil was greedy and collected high taxes and all valuables from the commoners in the village, to put in his vault of gold and jewels.
  • Bring me all the gold you can find, spare none. The one that can bring me the most will be rewarded.
  • That gold will be mine
  • Greed swelled up inside Cecil because he wanted the dragons gold. The King set off by himself to find the dragon and make a trade with him.
  • Once everyone returned the king was informed a dragon outside the kingdom had so much gold in his cave that the piles reached the ceiling.
  • The dragon awaited the Kings arrival, for he knew greed would eventually draw him away from his safe castle on a hill. The king had barely stepped through the door before the dragon ate him. From that moment the safest kingdom was in terror, because the dragon wreaked havoc everywhere.
