  • Initial Dialogue or Event
  • Puck states "Here she comes, crust and sad: Cupid is a knavish lad, thus to make poor female mad" (Shakespeare 19).
  • Propels the Action by...
  • Puck says "Yet but three? Come one more. Two of both kinds makes up four"(Shakespeare 19).
  • Outcome
  • Puck assures "When thou wak'st thou tak'st true delight in the sight of the former lady's eye"(Shakespeare 20).
  • Puck is in the woods looking and listening to Hermia talking and being sad because she wants Lysanders love.
  • Initial Dialogue or Event
  • Demetrius argues " Let her alone: speak not of Helena. Take not her parts, for if thou dost intend never so little show of love to her, thou shalt aby it"(Shakespeare 14).
  • In this scene Puck wants all of the four to be in love again. Hermia and Lysander would be in love. Demertris and Helena would be in love with each other.
  • Propels the Action by...
  • This is when Puck is in the forest with Lysander. Lysander is sleeping and Puck is putting some magical flower dust on the eye lids of Lysander. This will cause Lysander to be in love with Hermia. Everything will go back normal.
  • Outcome
  • The Author says "And back to the Athens the lovers wend, with league whose date till death should never end"(Shakespeare 15).
  • Demetrius is telling Lysander that he loves Helena. Demetrius is jealous of Lysander because Lysander is chancing after Helena.
  • Lysander is talking to Demetrius about how he loves Helena. He does not want Demetrius to steal his love for her.
  • Lysander argued back "she hold me not; now follow, if thou dar'st,to try whose right, of thine or mine, its mos in Helena"(Shakespeare 14).
  • Everyone is on their way back to Athens with their lovers. All of them worked things out and now they are living very happily.
