"Sorry, Right Number" Storyboard
This storyboard does not have a description.
Katie Weiderman receives a strange phone call which she thinks is coming from one of her family members. The phone call consisted of sobs begging for someone to be taken somewhere.
Katie tries to figure out who called her with Bill's help. Her husband attempts to calm her down through her panic. At first, she thinks it is Polly, their daughter, and then she thinks it was her mother. After concluding that it was neither, Katie thinks it is her sister Dawn, but she will not answer her phone calls.
Bill takes his wife to go and check on her sister. There were different clues that led to the assumption that Dawn was in danger, but when they came to the house and saw that she was okay, Katie finally let the phone call go, and accepted it to be a prank or wrong number.
Katie wakes up in the middle of the night to find Bill in the living room. Earlier, he was taping a movie for his son, but he had a heart attack in his chair.
The family attends the funeral of Bill. The children are crying and the mother says her goodbye to her husband.
Five years later, on the anniversary of her first husband's death, Katie sits in the living room. She turns on the TV to see one of the movies Bill had created from his books. Through her shock and grief, she cries heavily and dials her old home number. Katie realizes the phone call all those years ago was her, but she fails to warn the Katie from the past about Bill's death.
