Acting out the 3 paragraphs we wrote about.
Abby is bold and isn't afraid to threaten others
...We danced...Let either of you breathe a word...and I will come to you in the black of some terrible night and will bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder you.
Abby leads the girls into her pretenses
Why? Why do you come yellow bird?...you cannot want to tear my face. Envy is a deadly sin Mary.
Mary is always scared about one thing after another
...It were only sport in the beginning sir...I promise toy, Mr. Danforth, I only thought I saw them but I did not.
Abby is saying if any of them confess to doing witchcraft, then she will come after them and potentially hurt them.
Obviously Abby didn't see a yellow bird, nor did Mary try to hurt them. She was just trying to save herself by changing the subject.
By her pretending to be witching them as a joke is what caused problems because they actually thought she was a witch.
