  • After Jimmy and Timmy left the bone marrow it was time for them to do their job. Jimmy and Timmy spent their lives traveling through the arteries into the capillaries to deliver the oxygen to other cells and collect carbon dioxide and then they would travel through the veins and vein valves. They would go through the hearts ventricles and atriums to deliver the carbon dioxide to the lungs and to pick up more oxygen so they could start the cycle again.

  • After the twins when through the right ventricle and atrium, they went to the lungs picked up some oxygen. Although there was a problem, Jimmy had a low haemoglobin level meaning he couldn't carry much oxygen, this was bad and the twins started to worry. They decided they couldn't stay in the lungs so they decided to leave the lungs, go through the left atrium and ventricle and get pushed by the heart valves so they could go on their way.

  • As the twins travelled through the arteries that heard rumours that the white blood cells were after Jimmy. The twins got scared and and tried to go as fast as they could to get away from the white blood cells. Jimmy was going as fast as he could be was having trouble because he was so weak and unhealthy so Timmy tried to help Jimmy so they could get away from the white blood cells.
  • As the twins rush through the arteries Jimmy starts to slow down so Timmy, being faster tries to push Jimmy through the body so the white blood cells don't catch up. As they start to head through the capillaries the white blood cells get closer and closer!

  • When the cells go to the end of their journey they delivered the oxygen and started to travel through the veins so they could both get away from the white blood cells and deliver the carbon dioxide to the lungs.
