  • 6CO2 + 6H2O + ATP (Energy)
  • Reactants: Oxygen and Glucose
  • Cellular Respiration
  • C6 H12 O6+ 6O2
  • Products: Carbon Dioxide, ATP, and water
  • Animals produce carbon dioxide
  • Animals use oxygen
  • Relationship
  • Plants use carbon dioxide
  • Plants produce oxygen
  • Products: Oxygen and Suger
  • 6CO2 +6H2O
  • Photosynthesis
  • 6(CH2O)+6O2
  • Reactants: Water and Carbon Dioxide
  • The first stage of cellular respiration takes place in the cytoplasm and only releases a small amount of energy. The second stage takes place in the mitochondria snd releases alot of energy.
  • This relationship is important because it keeps the oxygen level in the atmosphere at about the same level.
  • The main organelle used in photosynthesis is the chloroplasts. In the chloroplasts is chlorophyll which helps capture light energy
